Ms Edith Lam graduated from the City University of Hong Kong as a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) major in English in Primary Education. She obtained the Certificate for Teachers in Primary School, major in English from The Hong Kong Institute of Education. She has also attained the Language Proficiency Requirement for English Teachers.

Ms Lam would like to be a teacher since she was a secondary student. In Form 4, she met her class teacher, Ms Tam, who was a very nice, caring but serious teacher. The teacher always told her academic results were not everything. Everyone had his/her own strength or potential. If they develop their potential and pursue their dreams, they know what they should do. Therefore, Ms Lam's teacher is her role model and the teacher really could make a difference to her.

Ms Lam has been teaching in CPS for over 20 years. In CPS, she enjoys teaching children as they are sincere, unique and creative. She felt satisfied when her students fully participated in her lessons. She had inspiration when her students expressed their creative ideas. She was delighted when her students explored and developed their potential. As a teacher, she hopes she can help her students to build up their self-confidence and help them to fly. To her, teaching is full of challenges. It can bring her a great sense of achievement.
